Round of 32 Called ON at GWM Sydney Surf Pro Presented by Bonsoy

NORTH NARRABEEN, Sydney, NSW, Australia (Saturday, May 11, 2024) Competition has been called ON for Day 3 of the GWM Sydney Surf Pro presented by Bonsoy, Stop No. 2 of the 2024 World Surf League (WSL) Challenger Series (CS). Competition will commence at 7:35 a.m. AEST with the women's Round of 32 with the men's Round of 32 to follow. Clean conditions are continuing at North Narrabeen with more surf in the three-to-four-foot range. 

Fresh from a runner-up finish on the Gold Coast, Luana Silva (BRA) will get her first look at North Narrabeen in the opening heat of the day when she takes on Zoe Benedetto (USA), Nikki Van Dijk (AUS) and Maud Le Car (FRA). 

Reigning GWM Sydney Surf Pro event winner Isabella Nichols (AUS) will be looking for another big result at Narrabeen this week. Nichols will get her campaign off and running against Sarah Baum (RSA), Yolanda Hopkins (POR), and Amuro Tsuzuki (JPN) in Heat 8 of the Round of 32. 

Later in the day, the men's Round of 32 will kick off with Heat 1, with Day 2 standouts Ian Gouveia (BRA) and George Pittar (AUS) facing American duo Owen Moss (USA) and Kolohe Andino (USA).
