Surfguru has the best cost/benefit ratio on the market for your campaign, get a quote for our prices to get an idea.
Surfguru has several different advertising plans, which fit perfectly into any range of marketing budgets your company may have.
Surfguru adopts the CPM scheme, or Cost Per Thousand Impressions, according to which a thousand views of your banner on our site is sold for a fixed price, and at a very low cost. Check our prices.
The "impressions" (as they are known in marketing) of your banner are contracted according to your budget. Your banner will automatically be included in the site's random banner distribution scheme, which will ensure that your banner appears every day of the month, at a rate calculated according to your contracted plan. We use Google's Double Click system, which guarantees reports with banner delivery statistics.
This way we guarantee that your banner will be seen throughout the month, with visibility proportional to the plan you have contracted, so we can offer any price range that fits your marketing budget.
Available banners
There are various models and types of banners, which can appear in different places on the site. All are listed below:
ROS banners:
These are the banners that appear on every page of the site, the acronym ROS, comes from the English "Run Of Site", these banners appear at the top of the site, in the content area and on the right-hand side, as described below:
Top Banner:
This banner is the first to appear at the top, on all pages of desktop devices (computers), it follows the IAB banner standard (http://www.iab.net/), it has the "Leaderboard" size: 728 pixels wide by 90 pixels high, but it's better than that, because this banner can expand down to 300 pixels high when the user hovers over it.
Rectangular banner 640x120:
This banner appears on every page of the site, and has a size of 640 pixels wide, by 120 pixels high. There is space for 2 rectangular 640 x 120 banners, which appear in the middle of the content of the desktop site (for computers), in both spaces your banner can appear randomly, above or below, always respecting a distribution of impressions according to the number of thousand impressions contracted.
Square ROS banner:
There are 2 spaces reserved for square banners (300 x 250 pixels) on the site, both for desktops (computers) and mobile devices, it follows the IAB banner standard (http://www.iab.net/) of the "Medium Rectangle" type, in all spaces your banner can appear randomly distributed with other banners of the same size.
State banners:
These are the banners that appear on the site's preview pages, which is the most frequented channel. The system distributes the banners according to the state/country from which the forecast is accessed, thus being able to focus on a more regionalized target audience. For example, a surf store with stores in only one state could hire a banner that appears only to the public in their state, thus concentrating their campaign, advertising only to the public that has the potential to frequent their store, thus making their campaign much more cost-effective. State banners are 300 pixels wide by 250 pixels high. There is space for 2 state banners on our pages, in both spaces your banner can appear randomly, always respecting a distribution of impressions according to the number of thousand impressions contracted.
Desktop Forecast Vertical Banner:
This banner is 300 pixels wide by 600 pixels high. This banner is exclusive to the forecast page on the desktop version of the site (for computers), and appears on all forecast pages, however your banner can be geolocated to optimize its appearance for your target audience, if applicable.
