Finals Day Called ON at EDP Ericeira Pro Presented by Estrella Galicia

RIBEIRA D’ILHAS, Ericeira, Portugal (Sunday, October 6, 2024) - Finals Day at the World Surf League (WSL) EDP Ericeira Pro Presented by Estrella Galicia, Stop No. 5 on the 2024 Challenger Series has been called ON. The women’s Semifinals will start at 8:35 a.m. GMT+1, followed by the men’s Semifinals, women’s and men’s Finals. 

After requalifying for the Championship Tour (CT) yesterday, Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS) is not done yet and will eye a consecutive Challenger Series Final appearance, but will first need to get past up-and-coming star Noah Klapp (DEU).

Taking down some of the biggest names on her way to the Semifinals, 13-year-old Tya Zebrowski (FRA) will go head-to-head against Kirra Pinkerton (USA).

Freshly qualified for the CT, Alejo Muniz (BRA) will surf a bit more freely in his Semifinal matchup against Callum Robson (AUS), who now sits on the cusp of the qualification line after moving up 25 spots on the rankings.

Making his first Semifinal appearance on the Challenger Series, Joel Vaughan (AUS) will face Samuel Pupo (BRA) to try and improve his standing heading into the final stop.
