Baleia Vibes 2023

Baleia Vibes, the largest Adventure Sports and Culture Festival on the coast of Ceará, ended this Sunday. For three days, various activities shook the municipalities of Itapipoca and Paracuru and the region, with activities in and out of the water.

START

The adventure began on Friday (17) with the briefing and official start of Baleia Vibes 2023. The group left Barra do Rio Curu, in Paracuru, heading to Baleia beach, a section of the Ceará coast of rare beauty and which brings together a varied range of ecosystems ranging from rivers and lagoons, to long stretches of beach interspersed with saltwater oases capable of impressing even the most experienced travelers! Capim Açu, Lagoinha, Guajiru, Flexeiras, Emboaca and Mundaú were some of the main beaches visited on the day, each with its own beauty and particularities that enchant people from all over the world.

While the kite radicals crossed the coast through the sea, the bike and off-road group explored the trails, bringing the joy and high spirits of Baleia Vibes wherever the caravan passed. The dynamics of the bike are very interesting, as the participants have all the support to do the route the way they want, that is, whenever someone wanted to stop pedaling, the support would retract the bike, or vice versa, making the route a pleasant experience, without hassles or any type of suffering! The order of the day was always to have fun, whether in the water, on two or four wheels.

Arrival at Praia da Baleia was literally a party, where the event organizers prepared a VIP Party to welcome all participants, celebrate the first day of vibes and fraternize everyone around the magic of joy of those who do what they love surrounded by exuberant beauty. of our nature, after all, it is no surprise that Itapipoca is also known as the municipality of Três Climas (Praia, Serra and Sertão), with the beach being the flagship of this trio. Lots of reggae and loud laughter completed the paradisiacal setting of the first day of Baleia Vibes.

SECOND DAY

On the second day, following the same script as the first, after a hearty breakfast, the participants took to the sea and the trails. The blistering heat only increased the pleasure of swimming in the sea with the refreshing breeze that only those who have visited the coast of Ceará know about. And in this context, the Baleia Vibes caravan continued for another day of lush landscapes, paradisiacal views and breathtaking trails! The route went from Praia da Baleia to Moitas, in Itarema, passing through Praia dos Apiques, Caetanos, Icaraizinho de Amontada and many others, until reaching the mouth of the Aracatiaçu river, in another day of pure contemplation of nature. The dynamics followed the same as the first day, with full support for the participants, who even had a stop for hydration and appreciation of the natural beauty in strategic locations! A true traveling party for the lucky ones who were part of this incredible adventure. At the end of the day, everyone returned to Praia da Baleia, the base of Baleia Vibes, transported by support vehicles.

At night, despite being tired, many participants still managed to muster up the strength to enjoy the great party prepared by Baleia Vibes and which moved the entire region, with a large stage set up in the square and attractions for all tastes. According to André Costa, organizer of the event, that moment was the event's retribution for the affection of all the communities in the region who year after year welcome us all so well:

"This great party is a small thank you to all the residents who always welcome not only us, at Baleia Vibes, but all the tourists who come here to enjoy the natural beauty of the region and contribute to the social growth of these communities through tourism. The hospitality, attention, education and kindness of the people here in this region is different. I, who have been traveling these beaches for many years, know exactly what I'm talking about and this party is precisely to recognize the value of these people, bringing them a little of the joy and fun that Baleia Vibes participants experience during the three days of the event", declared André.

THIRD DAY

The third and final day of Baleia Vibes began with that feeling of the end of a trip, the end of a vacation, that feeling that everything good is short-lived. However, there was still a lot to enjoy on the day. Bike lovers took advantage of their Fat Bikes, bicycles specially made for riding on sand, to explore the paradisiacal Praia da Baleia, while kitesurfers enjoyed the last hours of sailing, before everyone returned to the state capital.

However, there was still a lot to enjoy on the last day and the highlight was the XXVI Praia da Baleia Canoe Regatta, where dozens of rafts mixed with the kites transforming the beach into a multicolored watercolor with kites and sails of all colors. and tones, in a beautiful and rare spectacle that I celebrate 

u coastal culture through the almost symbiotic interaction between rafters and kitesurfers, both lovers of the winds and green seas of Ceará!

CLOSING PARTY

And on Sunday, another big party in the Square brought together local residents and people from all over the region to close Baleia Vibes 2023 with a flourish. Featuring forró bands, DJ's, regional singers and local attractions, the party started around the middle of -day and lasted until the night, crowning with great success another edition of Baleia Vibes.

"We are very happy and proud with the organization of another Baleia Vibes with everything going well. It was three days of lots of adventure, paradisiacal places, joy and lots of fun. This is the essence of Baleia Vibes, a project that has grown more and more and bringing together unique people with the same goal: to have fun, play sports, live, bring joy to other people and dream. In our case, dreaming about the next edition, which we are already organizing. And it is with this energy that we complete another project inviting everyone who wants to live a great adventure to be part of this project", concluded André Costa.

SUSTAINABILITY

It is important to highlight that Baleia Vibes 2023 had a much stronger environmental footprint than in previous editions. Environmental actions received special attention from the organization during the three days of the event. In addition to being part of the official program, with Cleaning activations throughout the route, wherever the caravan passed, participants were encouraged to make a difference to the environment. And everyone wore the sustainability shirt, not only avoiding discarding waste in nature, but also promoting the removal of any rubbish that was on the way, as a way of helping to make the paradisiacal places the caravan passed through become even more beautiful after passing. of the groups, an active way of positively impacting nature preservation.
